Welcome in the campsite of Gien

Wherever you come, from North, South, East or West, our strategic geographical location will inevitably take you here ! (Paris : 150 km, Nevers: 90 km, Orléans : 60 km, Bourges : 90km).
As regards the Netherlands, Great Britain, Germany, Belgium, Italy and France, the departments of North, Normandy, Brittany, Vendee, Aquitaine, the valley of Rhone, the east of France, the Alps or the large South, our location in central France can't be ignored !!!

Facing the castle and the town, 10 minutes' walk from the centre, from spring to autumn (beginning of March to mid-November), the tourist campsite of Gien allows you to discover the various aspects of the banks of the Loire according to the seasons and the charming landscapes that will delight you.
The « Loire by bike » tour is at our door and allows hikers, horse riders or bike riders to find accommodation, catering, supplying, repairing, equipment stocking or even transport making this stop pleasant and unforgettable.

The town nearby and the station are advantages that make you stay easier. Either you have your own accommodation, or you go by bike, by car or by canoe, either you want to spend one night or stay in a mobile-home or in a gipsy caravan to meet us, we know how to welcome you in a quiet setting full of flowers and planted with trees. At your disposal, the reception is open everyday from 8.00 to12.00 A.M and from 2.00 to 7.00 P.M. You'll find all the brochures and information to discover the richness of our "Val de Loire" (a listed UNESCO world heritage site).

We can add the fact that we are located at the crossroads of the Sologne, the Berry, the Gâtinais, the region of Sancerre is not far away and so, you'll get an idea of the richness of our region of central France.
From the castle of Sully and its visits in costumes, the one of Chamerolles and its perfumes, Bussière with its kitchen garden and its sheds to Saint-Brisson and its medieval war machines. Farther, Guédelon and its fortified castle under construction, Saint-Fargeau, its son et lumière, the farm of the castle, high wire forest adventure, the circus museum, the one of witchcraft, each day brings you an odd discovery.

Instead of keeping you within the campsite with traditional activities, we'd rather allow you to enjoy our nice region. However every week you are offered a various thematic evening party : music, magic, tranformist, fashion show with old cars, dictation-bar or « qualification » party , gastronomic party or mussels and chips....
